Parent and Baby Yoga
For parents with young babies it is even more important to have some self nurturing time and the opportunity to attend classes without separating from your baby. Whether you began yoga in pregnancy, have been doing it for years or are just starting out, the Parent and Baby classes are a relaxing way to regain strength and muscle tone for yourself and also to introduce your baby to mindful movement. Babies up to 9 months or crawling age are welcome and of course we support breast feeding on demand. Some parents choose to participate with baby in a sling while others bring a rug, carry chair, donut or cushion so baby can observe or snooze through the class. Sometimes calm, occasionally chaotic, it’s a go with the flow class incorporating relaxation, baby yoga and vinyasa or flowing yoga practice.If you would like to attend an existing course check our timetable.
